Being a student again...

Well, not really... I'm just starting my Travel Writing class tonight! I'm so excited about it :)
I also went to check out some dance studios last night, and found one that I think will be perfect for me, and so I start my ballet class on Friday. It's been probably a good twenty years since I've been in a leotard and ballet shoes! (I gotta have my mum find that photo of me in a red tutu from my last ballet performance.)

So, what is all this about? All this sudden taking classes that are kind of random? I think it has to do with a combination of finally making some decent money, being 26, and not being able to commit to having a career. I think I'm just trying to start doing everything that I've always wanted to do. And I also think I need some hobbies that are not photography related, not career related, not money making hobbies. Something where there is no pressure to succeed. Something that I love to do just to love it. I'm not very good at that, I realized, so here I am doing two things that I dream of being, a writer and a dancer, both of which I suck at. I think it'll be really good for me.

I do hope though that at some point I will write a novel and performance with a dance troupe. I would like to say that I was able to have done both in my life...
