Been painting...

So these two paintings are the start of a new series of painting that are based on the idea of keeping an artist's journal. I used to have a diary when I was much younger, and I wrote almost religiously in it for years. Now as I've gotten older I have stopped writing, sometimes I think it's because I'm more stable than I used to be. Othertimes, I think it's gotten more difficult to write what is going on in my head.

I'm hoping to develop a series of ongoing work that combine all the creative mediums that I love to really start expressing some of my feelings about the things in my life, in our world. And I hope that this project will allow me to keep experimenting, working as a creative as left me forgetting to experiment and try new things to keep my work interesting and new.






These are not as yet finished, but they are the beginning. I'll post images of the finished paintings once they are done. Let me know what you think so far!
