Matrushka Construction was founded by Beth Ann Whittaker and Laura S. Howe in February 2003. Inspired by the utility of the Russian Constructivists, each unique piece is designed, hand-sewn and silkscreened by the artists, with prices set purposefully for everyone to enjoy.
The shopping experience at Matrushka is different from any other. Beth Ann and Laura have created an interactive atmosphere for their customers. With the use of a hands-on-tailoring format and the ability to special order, Matrushka allows for each of their customers to walk out with an item that fits them and their taste perfectly.
