Round up the week

So, the shoot on Friday has been stretched out until tonight. We shot headshots for a few hours, but never got round to my portfolio shot, so we're supposed to be shooting those today. But he's camping, his cell phone if off, and I don't know what time he's coming back into town. Matt is going to fill in if he doesn't show up soon.

I bumped into Lorrayne, the model from this shoot yesterday at the mall, and she told me that our little impromptu shoot ended up making it to the front of her comp card! She was so happy with the shot, and she has a friend that wants to shoot with me. I'm pretty excited! The whole shoot was a kind of fluke situation. My friend You Lee set up a shoot with Lorrayne so that she could meet Claire, a new makeup artist. I went to go meet Lorrayne to see if she wanted to do a shoot with me sometime, and I ended up shooting that day. So, I should really go to LA Models (Lorrayne's signed with them) to see if they'll let me test with their models.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm feeling a bit blah, but I never much liked birthdays anyway. But I am looking forward to New york...

Oh I got really cute shoes for the wedding. Did I tell you how awful the dress is? I have to get someone to make it fit better, but at least my shoes will be REALLY cute!
